I ADORE AOL Radio!!

I do. Particularly it’s gay pride station. Oh, hell. I wouldn’t even be posting if not for the gay pride station. I’m straight, but I think it utterly rocks. In the last week or so, I’ve heard Aqua, New Order, Depeche Mode, and more. It’s like someone finally understands all the music I like. All right, occasionally it plays some downers, and there are other stations that have different songs I also like…but it’s just uncanny how many songs I like get played there.

I also like Awesome 80s, 80s and 90s alt, Movie Songs, and 1 Hit wonders, among other stations. Anyone else listen to AOL radio and if so what stations?

I like the CMJ channel!

Ooohhhh! That Gay Pride station is GREAT!

I just discovered AOL radio too and I absolutely love all the choices of stations. There’s 10 choices of Jazz and Blues alone! How long has AOL radio been around, anyone know?

Since 7.0’s been out. What’s that, about a year now?

Don’t you hate it when you start a thread praising something cool, and somebody comes in and says it’s crap, you should use something else? God, I hate that!

Anyway, you guys should try Launchcast , you rate each song it plays (by the song, album, or artist) and based on your rating it adjusts how frequently that song (or artist or album) is played in the future.

I don’t have AOL, so I can’t really say how it compares to AOL Radio.

I like Launchcast, too!

What’d I tell ya, Lola? I’ll try out launchcast some time, Revtim, thanks.

I can’t say as AOL Radio sucks as I have listened to it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Following in Revtim’s tradition I suggest SPINNER

We listen to net Radio for the comedy stations.Nuthin’ better for the soul than a good laugh. Our favorite include:

Laugh Trax: Adult Comedy. Honestly, I never knew there were as many female homosexual comics out there until I started listening to this station.Needless to say, the comedy is racey and not for the young.

Comedy Corner: Similar to AOL’s Comedy station. You won’t be hearing george Carlin’s 7 dirty words here. Lots of song parodies and things your little brother will laugh at.
TV Tunes: We play our own version of “Name that Tune” while listening. If you’re a StarTrek lover you just might hear the fight music. I have!

One Hit Wonders: I constantly giggle at the sheer number of stupid sounding songs on this station. It is no wonder that these folks were Wonders.

I’ll be checking out Launchcast!

Another vote for spinner. It’s got all the AOL radio stations, cause AOL owns it, but it also has some that they don’t. Plus, you don’t have to be running AOL to listen to it (unless that’s where you get your internet connection from).
