I am feeling spontaneous/wreckless.

I feel like posting ten thousand smileys, or posting “you worthless worm” in everyone else’s thread, or going to town to find the nicest looking drunk girl and saying “will you marry me?”, or playing the WSIUEVFpwi pO IUSHREFGOVIU QHRQ FHWEFOHEIU (rapid random type as fast as you can game).

There were too many pheremones, or hormones or perfume or something in the air today.

Alas - pressing ‘submit’ on that post is probably the only wreckless thing I’ll do tonight.

I see you’ve been spelling [recklessly too.

I did wonder about that. the word ‘wreck’ has a ‘w’. so I thought 'wrecklessly; should too.
I am still infinately more literate than my boss and half of my colleagues.

And yes. I know I spelled infinitely wrong. I am being spontaneous, remember.

Time to go to bed, Lobbie. Tomorrow’s a brand new day.

What ever you do wind up doing, it should probably not involve stimulants.

But other than that, hey, enjoy those hormones while you’ve got 'em, guy. In 20 years or so, you’ll wish you still had these problems, take my word for it.

Yeah Lobbers, what Coldie said.

Sleep tight mate…:stuck_out_tongue:

Well I slept. And got an unexpected wakeup call. Someone at work consulting my infinite wisdom.

Today, I am not feeling reckless. Hungry - yes. Not fully rested - maybe. Silly (for posting this thread) - definitely.

Etymology Lesson of the Day:

It’s easy to confuse wreck with reckless, since they sound the same, but if you take a moment to think about it, the meaning of reckless doesn’t match at all with the meaning of the combination ‘wreck + less’, does it?

Reck is actually a term from Old English, which meant ‘care’. So reckless = careless. English no longer has the word reck, except in the word reckless itself. Perhaps a couple other words, but they don’t come to mind at the moment.

So now you know.

[sub]The semester’s nearly over, but the habits from my etymology-linguistics class linger. D’oh.[/sub]

And BTW, you misspelled “WSIUEVFpwi”. It’s “WSIUERFpwi”. Remember the rule, and don’t do it again.

That is good to know about the word reckless.

Oh and on this side of the world we spell WSIUEVFpwi without the R.
Now should I browse the board some more, or should I start Splinter Cell again? (with my unexpected free time)

Splinter Cell.
It’ll give me time to figure out what to do with my 3000th post (if anything at all. as IMO it looks lame when people celebrate these milestones. I am a lameo limey though)

Use it in a december thread, to express complete and utter agreement with december’s philosophy.

Brilliant! (and made me laugh)
