Because of a pulled muscle in my neck, my head can only turn right.
Since Sunday.
This is getting tiresome.
And don’t suggest massage because ow. No touchie.

You’re all set for this weekend’s NASCAR even then! The race is at Watkins Glen, which is a roadcourse, and run clockwise, rather than counterclockwise around the track…
Dammit! There NASCAR goes ruining my joke! shakes fist
What are the odds out of all the races during the year, you pick the wrong weekend. Good joke anyway.
Are you all race fans? If so you may be interested in this little issue I just read about, if you’re not just ignore my rant.
So the Kentucky Speedway is suing NASCAR for $1.2 billion in an attempt to get a race at their track. They want every race put up to the highest bidder so tracks with history and character will lose out to more cookie cutter tracks. Plus, one of the owners of the Speedway is also the head of the Cintas Corporation, a sponsor and partner of NASCAR. That struck me as strange, what a great business partner. Anyway, I don’t want to see the Nextel Cup schedule ruined and I signed this petition to help support NASCAR. Feel free to do the same, thanks.
Chefjef…
That track amazes me. They were told when they built it that they wouldn’t be getting a race… now they sue to try to get one… sad…
Not that NA$CAR doesn’t have it’s own issues though (good, bad, and ugly).
Take away one of the <yawn> California races, and give it back to the tracks they’ve moved out of. 1.5mi snoozers have got to be rethought. If you can’t sell out, you shouldn’t have the race.
And, what’s up with Indy? Who’d want to go? Anywhere you sit, you’ve got a huge grandstand blocking part of the track. I don’t get it…
With few exceptions for particular tracks, I’d rather watch it on the TV anyway (commercial annoyances & time excepted of course).
I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt on this one and just point out that the “petition” is being sponsored by a labor union who’s in a fight with Cintas and is using this unrelated matter to get some support for their position.
I go back and take a closer look, but regardless of the union’s issues, it seems that Farmer is using the weight of Cintas in an attempt to push around NASCAR in this lawsuit. What I care about is good tracks potentially losing their races. As I’m sure we all know a lot of these tracks not only have great history but they bring in a lot of money for the communities so this could really hurt those fans particulalry. The peition seems to urge NASCAR to take away Kentucky’s Busch and Craftsman races if they want to fight dirty, I agree with that.
As butler1850 said, NASCAR told the owners of the Speedway before it was built that they wouldn’t get a Cup race, so Farmer wasn’t an owner at the time and he comes in and decides to initiate legal action. Not cool my friend.
Anyway, enjoy the race this weekend, it was a hech of a final lap last weekend. I wa spissed that Denny Hamlin got knocked out at the end, hopefully that won’t hurt his chances for to make the chase.
mental lape there, didn’t realize despite the wreck on the final lap, which looked pretty damn bad by thr way, Hamlin still finished 10th. I could have sworn it was lower, so good news.
