I bought Simania and I don't know what to do!

SimMania consists of the original SimCity, SimTower, SimIsle, SimSafari, Streets of SimCity and SimCopter. All six of them for the price of one. You know there’s gotta be a catch and there is.

The only game that comes with any sort of instructions whatsoever is The Streets of SimCity (which makes my son real happy). A keystroke short cut card. There was an installation booklet, the short cut card— and nothing else.

I know how to work SimCity. The rest are a mystery. I’ve searched the 'net looking for basic instructions like “what does this button mean?” and “How do I scroll along the screen?” and “What the hell is that building?” What I’ve found all around are a bunch of other people asking “I just bought SimMania. Where can I find the instructions to these games?”

I’m especially bummed about SimIsle. I really want to play but I don’t know the first thing about gameplay. I play SimCity, SimTheme Park and The Sims. I figure I can figure this out, right? Nope. Still don’t know the first thing about it.

If anybody can tell me anything about any of these 5 games please, please do so.

If you want I can email you the help file to SimTower.

::Goes off to find the CD::

Check the disc for *.pdf files. Often, on these game compilation CDs they put the manuals in PDF format on the disc.

I forgot to mention: you need Adobe Acrobat to read these files, which can be downloaded free at www.adobe.com .

Actually, if they did indeed put the manuals in pdf format on the cd, they probably included acrobat on the disk too.

I’ve got Acrobat. I’ll take a look.

This is really pissing me off. I went to EA’s site. They have no support available that I could find for any of these games. I couldn’t even find an archive to search for these older games. But on other gaming message boards I find tons of people who have just bought this and can’t find the instructions to anything. No where does it say on the two peices of paper that this came with, to open, look for a .pdf file.

Now I wish I’d opened this in The Pit so I can express how I really feel.

As an owner of this product, I can assure you the manuals appear in Adobe Acrobat® format on the discs.
