I’ve often heard stories about various threads in the Dope. But it was the occasional peals of exhuberant laughter that sealed the deal. KLC and I have computers in the same room, and now and then she’d find a thread that jiggled her funnybone. My curiousity finally got the better of me, and how could I resist a place where bringing pie is a tradition.
What happened, did everyone find new Dopers in their Easter baskets or something? There’s gotta be four or five welcome threads going right now!

Welcome, BobPi! Miloj bonvenoj! We have a welcoming banquet laid on in Room Two. Please ignore the strange noises coming from Rooms Three, Four, and Five. We have a full-bore SCA convention running in much of the Complex and things are getting a little …interesting… at times. But the staff is doing an admirable job and the calamari remains fresh and attentive.
