Today is a momentous day in my life. I have finally become a paid subscriber to the SDMB. Once upon a time, I was just a sad lurker watching from the outside, hoping to be one of the few, the proud, the insane…in other words, a doper.
I only hope I can meet the high standards set by this very eclectic group of people. If anyone has any advice for a fledgling doper, it will be very much appreciated.
Thanks to all for the great stories that kept me coming here and convinced me finally to join. And special thanks to Scylla for the blimp thread which got me to visit here in the first place. I also want to thank my family and the academy for believing in…ooops sorry, wrong thread.
