Still in shock that the a-thread is gone. There were warnings all during the 107 pages that one day the mods would close it down, but I never thought it would happen. Don’t know what I’m going to do with all the extra time I’ll now have every day. Feels like a big hole right now.
Just say ‘we can do it again.’ 
I’m afraid I got distracted and didn’t read/post much once we hit 100. Is it still possible to read the end of ‘a’? Must investigate.
I just read the final pages of “a”. “a” is locked but still on the first page SBS. I wasn’t a large contributor but did what I could, during work. Feel kinda lost and wondering aimles right now at SMDB.

Good job to all who truly contributed to the original “a” thread, I was very entertained everytime I checked in.
For what it’s worth, I wasn’t serious. It was a great thread but it’s time came and went.
Everything just seems a little less structured now.
It was a fun ride while it lasted.
Just feel happy that you were a part of MPSIMS history.
Fellow a-threaders – I’ve been in shock since this morning when I checked in and found our beloved thread more than half way down page one.
“Egad,” I said to myself (that being a real “a-thread” kind of word, and thus increasingly part of my daily vocabulary), “what’s wrong here?”
“Damn that coldie” I added when I realized the thread that would not die had been locked.
Can we be happy without the flirtations and intrigues, the coups and counter-coups, the yummy breakfasts, of the a-thread?
