I can’t go to the quite study room to study or do programming because the final examination period is over and it is the end of the semester and people think I am odd, crazy, weird, loser, nerd etc. if they see me doing something in the quite study room of the college.
I once going to my room with my bag from the QSA (quite study area), and a friend of mine saw me and said to me “WTF is wrong with you? Go to the common room (where the party was taking place at that time) and try to get some pussy.” I felt hurt and offended.
Yet another issue: I was solving some sort of math questions and a guy saw me and told me I was crazy because I told him I was studying math for fun.
I have to get over this but I don’t know how. I sometimes get so mad that I want to do some school shooting but then I think it would be like a reward for those non-studying people because their death would be quick. But I quickly recover from this illegal and sort of immoral idea and start to think normally again.
I take it that English is not your first language so I’ll pass on the spelling/grammar. Otherwise, there is an English phrase that applies to your situation.

If you want to go to the quiet room, go to the quiet room. If you want to study math, study math. Tell anyone who thinks you should do otherwise to fuck off.

I am not familiar with the US. But I believe that you should make big demonstrations against this weapon problem in your country. It is sad to see innocent people dying in events like school shootings.
Thanks a lot for the reply. I am attending an university in Europe. Here we have many quiet study rooms but my problem is not having one or “not having” one. The problem here is people who sort of disdain those who are nerdy. They make me talk like I did in my first post, and then people criticize me for talking like that. I am not saying they are not right in doing so. The OP was emotional; I relieved my anger and that is it. I have no intention of shooting. I only imagine.
