I post on a lot of message boards, mostly very casually so I don’t use the subscribe to thread option as I would get way too many mails. As such I can never remember where my most recent posts were or if someone actually deemed me worthy enough to gift me with a response. So yeah this is my apology for being a spacecase if I have been neglectful.
And can someone please tell me where I left my keys?
Your keys are in the toilet, your shoes are in the fridge, and your post is on the couch passed out and drunk. Oh, and it owes me twenty bucks for beer.
You know that you can go to your User Control Panel and set it to automatically subscribe to any thread in which you post, right? Then when you come back (bring pie) you can go to the User CP link, and see the activity in all your subscribed threads.
Also, you can set it in your CP so that you don’t receive an e-mail whenever there is a reply to your thread. But every thread in which you post will have an icon on the forum page that says you’re subscribed to it. You just have to remember to go into your CP periodically and unsubscribe to all the threads but the most current.
I don’t even do that very often - eventually the threads pretty much die down after a few days anyway.
Although I generally do unsubscribe from IMHO polls after a bit, and trainwrecks in the pit that have long deviated from the original point.
