I changed my user name. Because I wanna!

How and Dee, RingoBangoBongo.

I refuse to admit that your old username was anything BUT Can The Arya. I still call you that, and I still will, gazelle or not.

this one will be much easier to spell.

i like it.

Just added Gazelle from Hell to my mental list of really, really cool names around here.

I think your new name is very cool. And, it’s funny to see that someone else thought of capybara when they saw your old name – I did that, too!

But I especially like your description of "when I’m running and getting tired, I imagine a gazelle and try to feel as easy about running as a gazelle would feel… "

OK if I borrow that feeling?

Hey! All you knock that off!
–Cap.
Gazelle- welcome to the zoo.

I like it. It’s certainly a far more vivid image.

Admittedly, I, too read it as Can-the-ar-ya. Thought it was some Gaelic/Welsh thing.

I always pronounced it canth e ara, when the voices in my head were talking about it, or something.

I watched the ATMB thread about changing it. I like the new one; I’m glad you stuck with changing it rather than being guilted into sticking with one you don’t like.

So, hello Gazelle from Hell, it’s nice to meet you. Multi-word nicks are neat, although I don’t see any good subnicks like the grim spectre o’Fred death has. Lefro? Llefro? Romhel?

Saying “And a big shout-out to my friend Gazelle from Hell!” doesn’t have quite the appeal of “And a big shout-out to my friend Canthearya”…

All of you guys who didn’t know it meant “I cannot hear you.” - you crack me up.

Sublight, at least you have some thinking to back up your interpretation.

Holy crap! I just checked a Gaelic dictionary and look what I found!

I think we’re all straight now.
Oops, sorry iampunha.

Yep, another one checking in who just now got your username. I read it as can thera (hard th sound). :smack:.

I think this is fine, lno, as long as you allow her to refer to you as Ino.

I hate to pee in the punch bowl, but I don’t like it one little bit. Change scares me. Paper currency, too.

Goodbye, Auntie Canty.

Eeeew!
