Former non-Rotary Exchange Student here.

About 70% of the exchange students I knew went a little ‘wild’. At 15-16 years old and suddenly without effective parental discipline (host parents generally don’t discipline at all as long as you are good in the home) a lot of kids test their limits or boundaries.

The only advice I can give is to use your brain. The last thing you want is to be sent home and miss out on the rest of your overseas stay, with all the learning, fun, experiences and friendships that that entails. Have fun, but keep your brain in gear at all times. Next time, stop after the second drink :wink:

'Cause you accused what sounds to me like a genuine post of being made-up without backing it up. That, plus you being a well known poster so probably not trolling is why the hoopla :).

OP sounds genuine to me, but I don’t really care one way or the other.
