Did you ever have one of those situations where you got fed a line and you just couldn’t help but to take it? I have them all the time, but luckily my wife has a good sense of humor.
I was watching the Discovery channel one night which was showing a program on what biologically attracts men to women and visa versa. One of the comments wa that a waist to hip ration of .7 is the most sexually attractive to men.
Being an engineer, I promptly got out a tape measure and called my wife in. before I go further, I have tosay, my wife is a very smart woman but on this day, her math skills were not the best.
She didn’t make .7, so after I said, “I love you anyway” (thank God she loves me–I don’t deserve her, she decided to see how far off she was.
First, she tried to subtractthe hip measurement from the waist measurement, but forgot to “borrow” from the 10’s column. I pointed out her mistake. She then tried to multiply her hip measurement by .7 tosee how far off she was, but again forgot to “carry” when doing the multiplication. I pointed that out and she said–opening line–“Jeez, where is my head” And I said…
“Up your ass–maybe that’s why your hips are so big”
That cost me 12 long stem yellow roses. It was worth it.
