I despair of the younger generation: too lazy for real sex??

Your choice, friend, your choice. To be truthful, it wouldn’t be (and has never been) mine, either, but that’s because I am the kind of gal who is not comfortable displaying myself in that way outside the privacy of a loving relationship. No web cams, no videotaping and no pictures for me, thanks.

The point I was trying to make was that cyber sex does have its advantages, and that it shouldn’t be scorned just because it isn’t “real” sexual activity. Like phone sex, because there is no body contact, there is no chance of accidental pregnancy or STDs. Unlike phone sex, where the participants use the best sex organ (the brain) to imagine the verbalized fantasies, cyber sex gives the participants the visuals as well. (This is the difference between erotic novels and porn movies, too, so this difference is nothing new per se .) The visuals, aside from being exciting for the participants, also give them the sort of experience I described in my previous post. You and I may not choose to get that sort of experience in that manner, but that doesn’t change the value of that sort of knowledge.

All this club seems to have been was a society of teen mutual masturbators, to be blunt. Enough people do or have done this (mutual masturbataion) at some stage in their sexual lives that it is hard to call this terribly abnormal. Phone sex often works out to the same thing, except the people involved cannot see what the other is doing to themselves while talking.

BTW, I like your SDMB name.
