I heard a beautiful tone poem today written by Leopold Mozart (father of Wolfgang) and it is called “A Musical Sleigh Ride” and it is a welcome change from the Leroy Anderson “Sleigh Ride” (although I like it as well).
Here it is, and as it is a little long you may want to let it play in the background as you do something else on your computer: - YouTube
I hope you enjoy it.

Much more enjoyable than I would have expected from something called “Schlittenfahrt.”

Please note this version is in the key of G major, even though it’s usually played in C major. But this is the only complete performance I could find quickly.
FYI for a long time it was attributed to Haydn. Accoring to wikipedia some experts now think the actual composer is Edmund Angerer.
