In addition, I don’t know how we’ve “won”. There is very little legislation protecting us, and other than Obama Administration directives to the EEOC, DoD, etc. we have virtually no more protection than we did 8 years ago. A President Trump could (and from the indications of his VP and himself, would) wipe out an array of temporary protections very quickly after seizing power.

I also don’t know where this pretty good segment of society behind us is. They certainly don’t seem to be the ones passing laws, hiring folks, providing health coverage, etc. We have much MORE support, there’s no denying that. But even a doubling of a small minority is still a small minority. Meanwhile the religious right has firmly set its targets on us in all 50 states, and is waging a war of attrition against my people, funded in significant part by tax-deductible contributions of hate.

Just so you know, your anecdotes would be more honest sounding if they were toned down two or three notches. They would still sound dishonest, but less so. Also, half of them have nothing to do with the bias that you’re determined to maintain.

I found something:

CHOCOLATE BLITZEN
1/2 oz. (15ml) Vodka
1/2 oz. (15ml) Dark Creme de Cacao
1 oz. (30ml) Baileys Irish Cream
1 1/2 Cup Chocolate Ice Cream
Chocolate Sprinkles
2 oz. (60ml) Melting Chocolate

  1. Rim glass with hot melted chocolate and dip in chocolate sprinkles.

  2. Blend vodka, creme de cacao, baileys and ice cream. Do not blend the ice cream completely to a liquid. Let it maintain some of it’s thickness.

  3. Pour into chocolate rimmed glass and add sprinkles on top
    (Note: have never tried this)
