Hmm…she’s been saying for weeks that she “may” talk to the NFL. Why is this taking weeks to sort out? Is she working out some sort of paid silence deal with Farve? Is she working all of the book/Inside Edition/Playboy angles while her 15minutes is ticking by?
The whole thing reeks of attention whoring. My guess, she doesn’t want to talk to the NFL because she, at some point, banged Farve and is calculating how that reveal will impact her marketability.

Looks like it is a game of chicken. Favre is just trying to drag it out long enough to finish the regular season and then retire for good. Sterger is being a whore and trying to get as much money as she can out of this.
Why does it have to be anything sinister? She’s kept her mouth shut this entire time and stayed out of the spotlight. She’s good at her job - seems to me that she’s trying to protect her image rather than exploit it.

Like everybody else in this thread, I don’t know the details, what she’s thinking, or why things have gone the way they have. I do know, however, that there are options besides “she’s a whore” to explain everything, and the OP and several of the replies only serve to reflect poorly on the posters participating, not on Jenn Sterger. Unfortunately, knowing what I know of the posting history of both Cubsfan and dalej42, I don’t expect them to feel ashamed of their attitude, or even understand why they should.

Clearing her name from what? That story doesn’t clear her name from being attached to it, rather the opposite. And if being attached to it was her goal for publicity reasons, she could have done that 2 years ago. She could have done that this morning as well - but she hasn’t gone public, she hasn’t even taken a single interview on it!
