since when are long eyelashes “feminine?” They look great on all genders. As long as you don’t gunk them up with mascara I doubt anyone will think they are feminine.
I have long eye lashes. Growing up, I always used to get compliments from girls over my lashes. As I got older I started to realize that none of these girls were actually flirting with me, they just wanted my lashes for themselves.
I was on glaucoma medication for just about a year, some 18 years ago. Don’t remember the name. I got both the side effect of extra lashes - in the inner corners - and also had my irises darkened from hazel that was sometimes golden and sometimes olive green and often light golden brown - to very dark brown that has indeed been permanent. I’m very unhappy my hazel is gone.
Well, in general one doesn’t find a large selection of lash lengthening mascaras in the men’s department.
My eyelashes are too long, and I just cut them with small scissors when they get long enough to touch my glasses. It’s annoying.
Get the lash curler. If you use it and don’t think that curling helps your cause, use it (the curler) to hold your lashes in place & protect your eye while someone else trims them for you.
I’ve never dealt with this problem, but I have noticed that, when stars who have large eyebrows sometimes get them dyed at one end to make them seem like they taper off. I wonder if the same could be done for eyelashes.
Though, honestly, chances are that you are reacting strongly to something that most people wouldn’t notice. It’s the spotlight effect, combined with you just knowing exactly how long your eyelashes were, so the change seems bigger.
I’d suggest getting a second opinion. Maybe pull that “Do you notice anything different?” question on an attractive friend.
