Argh! I have a stupid, freaking, lab report to do for my embedded control course! I don’t want to do it! I hate doing lab reports, because I never know how the Hell to write what I’m thinking. It always comes out sounding dorky, or like I’m writing for a five-yeear-old. And what makes it worse, is that this is the FINAL report, which is the culminating something-or-other of the course. And wouldn’t you know it, there’s a section in the course manual that says that the final report must not simply be like the previous reports…well then what in the Hell is is suppossed to be like? The manual gives a couple examples of what to put in, and, predictably, my partner is writing THOSE parts of the lab. I get stuck with the hardest parts…the introduction and conclusion! Jesus fucking christ I don’t want to do this!

I can remember not understanding what the hell my professors WANTED from my work. It was frustrating as all hell. I’d been a great (if trouble-making) student in high school and I just wasn’t getting the concept in college.
But I kept at it and sometime between my 2nd and 3rd (of 5) years suddenly I ‘got it’. It was all downhill from there.
So I can’t honestly help you, bouv. But I can tell you it gets better over time.
