My kink came into bloom in January of this year, though I’d always known I liked to be spanked. I agree with you that there needs to be a “Not interested” option. I disagree with the “judging others” aspect of the rest of what you said, though. Seems awfully close to a personal attack. I also think there should be another option, “I haven’t tried it yet.” That would get my vote.
Damn! I had no idea spanking was an inclination. I thought it was something that was pretty damn normal among two people having enthusiastic sex. I had no idea there was all this nomenclature of bottoms tops and that if gender mattered.

Rather, I should have made the question more specific, like so: “Of those here who enjoy erotic spanking, where in the spectrum do you fall?” If you are interested but simply haven’t tried it yet, then just answer where you feel you would fit if you had tried it. My conversations with other spankos online have shown me that many, if not most people with this “kink” realize they’re turned on by the idea of spanking long before they have the opportunity to do it for real. For example, I knew I wanted to spank the girls when I was 13-14 years old (even started writing my own erotic spanking fiction when I was 15 — which was of course ridiculously bad), but didn’t have the opportunity to actually spank a sexual partner until I was 23.
Well, I’m speaking specifically about actual get-yourself-over-my-knee/bent-over-the-back-of-the-sofa spanking, possibly involving implements like paddles and straps, possibly with the spankings being long, drawn-out affairs that may or may not leave marks and produce tears, used as a form of foreplay, maybe with some roleplaying involved, as opposed to a simple “smack that ass” while doing somebody from behind.
