I feel so violated!

On Friday we had our wall spray painted with graffiti. This Saturday night while I stayed up until 6am to type some reports for school we were robbed…and I didn’t hear a damn thing! I’m scared about tonight. What do I do? I’m very angry and scared! Even though they stold petty stuff from our backyard it’s still creepy. They stole our hundreds of cans we collect in a box. WTF? CANS? I bet they got less than 10 bucks for all those cans. Fuckers! I’m afraid they might steal a cat that was in a box next to the box of cans. They also stole a shovel, and one of those rollie things to get under a car to change the oil. Fucking jerks! I don’t feel safe at all here. I hate this neighborhood more and more with each passing day. The box of cans is under my bedroom window and I didn’t hear anything? I must be very focused on my work or they were quiet. We live in a fully gated house that is locked that nobody can get into…or so we thought. The fuckers jumped a wrought iron picket fence. I had one of those window air conditioners in my window next to the cans, but I took it out now because I’m afraid they’ll kick it in to get into my room. I’m scared. I feel like investing in video cameras, but thats a lot. I want a security system…::sigh:::frowning:

Yikes. I hope that they don’t come back. :frowning: Did you report this to the police? Maybe they would start patrolling your neighborhood more often to try to catch the hoods.

How horrible for you! I hope things get better.

I’m still trying to figure out who want to steal soda cans. Possibly a homeless guy?

People will steal anything that can be sold, particularly if it’s difficult to trace.

I used to accumulate siding, window frames, and such next to the shed until I had enough for a recycle run, but a goodly portion got kiped. Now I save my scrap inside the shop.

Probably a bunch of crackheads.

That really sucks, OP :frowning:

We’ve had pretty much the same thing happen to us. We’ve had our mailbox vandalized twice. (this was after having to replace it after the city snowplow took it out last winter) Spray painted and crushed. It still closes, so we said screw it. And we had bottles swiped right off the porch. They may have gotten 2 bucks for them. And we live on a very well lit corner.

Fortunately for me, I have the luxury of two rather large dogs. For that I’m very thankful.

It still bites though.
