Circling back to report on the election bet:
I was having a hard time deciding between the ACLU, Planned Parenthood and the Sierra Club. But then I realized “Hey, if it’s hard for me to pick one of those three, I bet it would be REALLY hard for Ditka himself!”. So I have decided to leave the choice up to him.
He chose the gun rights one. Not such a hard choice for him, but nice try.

I was under the impression that the ACLU doesn’t have an extremely strong position on the 2nd vis a vis the current political debates. Plus even when they do strongly defend it with their words, they don’t seem to strongly defend it with actions, instead saying “all those other gun rights groups have got it covered, so we’re concentrating on defending the other rights which need more help,” which is a reasonable position to take.
HurricaneDitka is at it again, making us wonder if he understands simple arithmetic as well as a 5th-grader does.
Since he corrected one of his fellow Trumpist nitwits — who divided $30 trillion by 300 million to get $100 instead of $100,000 — my best guess is HurricaneDitka does have a good 5th-grade understanding of basic arithmetic. Indeed he’s an intellectual leader of his team here!
