I found a very interesting game online called Fantasy TeeVee.
The game is a competition to see who can come up with the best TV schedule. It’s similar to fantasy sports in that you draft existing shows, then schedule them to get the best ratings. It’s an eight-week-long game.
If anyone is interested, send an e-mail to [email=“pettirossa2000@yahoo.com”]me and I’ll set the league up.
It sounds like a lot of fun!
So, who wants to be the Fred Silverman of the SDMB?
I started SDMBLeague1. If you do not get an e-mail from Fantasy TeeVee, we had our first six. If we don’t get more of a response in the next few days, I’ll just start another league with everyone else.
Please remember to send an e-mail to pettirossa2000@yahoo.com if you want to participate and that I’ll use whatever e-mail address you sent the message from unless you tell me otherwise. In other words, if you sent the message from jsmith@doe.com, I’ll use that unless you tell me to use john.smith@whatever.com.
Okay – dumb question. I’m working on my draft choices. I will be assigned 12 characters (9 in play and 3 on the bench), but my draft list can be as long as I like, since I’m ordering my preferences for the draft, right?
The “off air” indications are for this coming week – if you want to see the following week, when we’ll actually be playing, msn entertainment listings go that far out.
FYI – there’s a debate next Wednesday night (10/13), making that pretty much a no-win night, I think, given the shows that are in play.
Hmmm.
BTW – MsRobyn says she’s still setting up a second league, if anyone is interested.
