I went to the break room to get some coffee this morning, and I found this on top of the box of Equal.
For the life of me I can’t imagine how this CD ended up on top of the Equal sweetener box in our break room. I have asked around, and no one will take responsibility for leaving it there.
I don’t really want to throw away a CD, but I can’t find anyone to claim ownership of it! Why in the world is there a Chris Gaines CD in our break room?!?!
While workign in IT i have to have users send me there computers. One time we had a guy send us his computer in a box with foam penuts. so far so good right? but he was also nice enough to give us a gluestick and a drafting pencil. most.random.ever
Take it to Reception and mention that you found it in the break room. They’ll know what to do. (One time I found an engineer’s ring on the floor outside my cube; you can bet that one got reclaimed up in a hurry once the receptionist sent a memo around…)
**I found the most random thing in the break room at work today **
I think that the word should have been “unexpected” and not “random”, unless you meant it in a quantum mechanical sort of way.
Perhaps, but that explanation hinges on the idea that, at some point, someone actually went out and bought a Chris Gaines album. And what are the odds of something like that ever happening?
I found a bong under the counter on my first day of work. Oh, excuse me, I do mean a water pipe, as it is for sale, and legally so. Still. Didn’t expect that, I tell you what.
