It took me countless stupid conversations with IT staffing agenents and 3 pointless revisions of my resume before I got anyone to actually present me to a client.
And I told the fuckwits… put me in front of the client and I’ll get the job offer! But noooo… they felt they needed to understand my career goals and offer me suggestions on how to improve my resume layout. And how come I’m going for a system architect position when my last position was project manager? You’re overqualified. You haven’t written enough use cases. Blah. Blah. Blah.
So finally, one agent with two brain cells manages to present me to a client and two interviews later… a job offer!
Ooops, slight geographical error! Having never been to either…I can’t stand line ups…Quick Silver is still goin’ somewhere warm, although, now that I think about it…I think Ellas is calling my name with some saganaki, Apelia (white, of course) and souvlaki.
It got down to 46 last night! Ivylad wanted to sleep with the windows open, and I had to wear my flannel jammies.
(Hey, we had four hurricanes last summer. Let me gloat a bit.)
