About a year ago, a woman from my synagogue showed up with an Abercrombie shopping bag she thought I’d find interesting.
It had me on it.
That is to say, it was a black and white photo of what looked very much like myself in revealing clothes.
Either I have an alternate personality with a lucrative modeling career, or I have a long-lost identical twin sister who works for A&F.
Seriously, I don’t know who the model is. I don’t know where to find information about the bag online, or even just a photo of it. I tried again tonight, with about a blajillion different search phrases, and I still didn’t find the bag (well, except for one picture where it was extremly defaced).
And so, I give up. Henceforth, the bag will remain a mystery. Unless I wake up in a modeling studio with no memory of how I got there, I guess.
Have you tried contacting Abercrombie and Fitch? Their marketing department could probably help identify the bag in question, as well as the model used for it.
Have you tried eBay? Apparently some of the bags are collectible “22 of the bags are picture bags featuring the HOT Models of famed photographer Bruce Weber.” You could hit Barnes and Noble and look up a coffee table book of Weber’s photographs and see if you find the image you’re looking for.
Or, maybe it’s this one? If so, can we do a visual compare and contrast exercise?
Everyone seems to think I’m a guy. Maybe I should put “female” in my sig? (I actually did that on another message board).
By the way, just to clarify: Tessa looks like me from the neck up. The body looks nothing like me- I’m much smaller in all respects.
Also… I admit that the title of this thread may be a lie. I was sorta hoping to harness the power of the collective horniness of the SDMB to help me find the picture I was looking for. Good job, guys.
I definitely thought you were a guy. Now I think you’re a hot guy with long hair and women’s clothing. Eventually you may transmogrify to a female in my psyche.
