Neurotik is right, we had a thread a couple of weeks ago in which you said that you were not going to the prom in protest. Several dopers argued that the real reason was that you didn’t have a date. What changed? (I would look for the thread but… no)
We all know that Blalron is just getting set up for disaster, so let’s all wait for the after-prom update…

I didn’t go to my senior prom. I worked that night. Several friends told me “I know a girl who’d love to go to the prom. With you, of course.” That last bit was always emphasized in my head anyway. And a woman I worked with offered to go with me “if only she wasn’t old and married”.
People didn’t understand that I wasn’t going because there was no one I wanted to go with. I could have gone with someone. Like I said there were plenty of available girls who wanted to go. I just didn’t want to take them.
Anyway, enjoy yourself, be safe, and get home at a reasonable hour, young man.

I haven’t heard from her since we broke up.
I don’t think Blalron should be allowed to go the prom after reading his giant crybaby thread about how he didn’t want to go to prom because “they were gonna make him take a breathalyzer”.
To the average observer, it may seem odd that I am now planning on going to the prom when before I said I would never go because of the breathalyzer.
However, it’s something you guys will just have to figure out for yourself.
