Yup, I got a new office. And I don’t have to work nights anymore. No raise, but better hours.
So, the reason I’m posting this is because no one has told me what I’m supposed to do. At all. I’ve been sitting in this office that’s almost as big as my apartment for the past two days. I trained my replacement for my old job yesterday, and now it’s today. And my boss is out of town until Monday. So, now I’m typing convoluted run-on sentences so other people will think I’m actually working on something. But I’m not. Because I don’t know what my new job really is. I found a casino game on my new computer, but I don’t want to play it because it’s not windows-based, and if someone does come in my office it will take a while to get out of it. So, … yeah. I’m just typing away. “Working hard.”
Now it’s break time. I’d better go have a cig. Thanks for listening.
