I got my biopsy results today

I’m sorry the news wasn’t what you were hoping. The good news is that we live in 2008 and not 1008!

You and your family are in my thoughts. I’m glad this is small and caught early.

The Very best mojo being sent your way,** Ivylass**.

Best wishes from us out here. You’ll beat it!

Ivylass, I just want to add my best wishes.

Don’t get all nervous about what might happen in your treatment, take it one step at a time with your doctors. Two of my friends went through that at the same time, 8 years ago. Only one of them needed radiation. They are both survivors and have had no relapse of any kind.

Neither of them had the support of a husband or spouse, and you have Ivylad… and us. I think your odds are great.

Someone else pointed out that you’re lucky this is happening to you in 2008, and that the cancer is in an early stage.

Still, this is a hard thing to face. ((((Ivy))))

Oh, I’m sorry to hear it. Here’s a cheerful story though: one of my kids’ aunts has beaten not only breast cancer but lung cancer. As others have said, the treatments these days are effective. Good luck and be sure to come vent as needed!

Since I can’t be there to give you a hug in person, please accept my best wishes and know we’re here for you.

I remember when my ex’s aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer (she has been cancer-free for 5 years, BTW), we sent her a get-well card that said something about finding a pebble in your shoe as you walk along the road, removing the pebble and moving on. Think of the cancer as that pebble. You’re gonna be OK.

(sending lots of hugs and encouragement)

My best wishes for smooth treatment and a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear that. I hope the best for you.

Yikes, that’s scary! Your doctor seems like he’s doing a great job, though.

Sorry to hear the news, but your doc sounds like he’s on top of the situation.

I have a friend who is just coming to the end of her treatment for breast cancer, she has had a rough time but she’s made it through and the future looks positive for her. I wish the same for you - without the rough patches!

Best of wishes for you ivylass, my mother was a survivor (cervical) so I know it’s not going to be an easy road but a road well travelled.

Sorry to hear your news, but am glad that they caught it early. Sending healing thoughts your way.

So sorry to hear that, Ivy. Sounds like you have a good doc, though.

Sending good vibes to you from the other side of Central FL.

Yeah :smack: radiation therapy is 5 days a week for 6-7 weeks.

Thanks so much everyone. You have no idea how much your kinds words and thoughts mean to me. I should be hearing from the nurse today with regards to my appointments…so I’ll keep you updated!

When is the treatment scheduled to start?

I’m so sorry to hear about this, ivylass. Thank God they caught it so early! Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Wishing you a simple and speedy (and FULL!) recovery!

More good wishes headed your way, friend.

Stay calm, take care of business, be well. ((ivylass))
