I got my boyfriend's Christmas present today!

Next time just say you’re channelling Yoda. Love that, the Star Wars geeks do.

I was thinking some other part of her anatomy…

I feel pretty safe putting this here, hubby reads the dope but hopefully by the time he gets around to reading again any time soon this post will be buried in the rest of the thread.

I got him Mass Effect and a new cellphone. Also, I got every single person in my family Bacon Salt. YAY! He knows about the game and the cellphone (I’m really shit at keeping secrets), but nobody suspects the bacon salt!

I’m probably also going to get hubby a great big selection of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans as well, coz he loves those.

No body never got me no cigars nor not humidor although someone once got me a cigar cutter but only because she bought her boyfriend one and they were like two for a quarter or something. The last Xmas present my ex-wife bought me was a wheelbarrow. Maybe my darling Marcie will buy me something, but I don’t think so. I hate Christmas and I really hate Christmas music. So you guys have fun, I’ll be over here with my back turned.

Somehow, I have to manage to buy, ship, receive, wrap, and pack into our suitcase and then unpack and hide in the hotel room a deluxe copy of the *Children of Hurin *. All this under cover of extreme secrecy.

He is so wrapped up in exams and so naturally oblivious that I will probably pull it off.

Can’t you have the company you’re ordering it from gift wrap it and send it directly to the hotel? Wouldn’t that be easier?

I have no good Xmas gift ideas yet, I was hoping this thread would inspire me…

I suppose I could, but I have no experience with Amazon shipping to Mexico.

Seconded. I read the thread title and thought, “I have a boyfriend. He needs a gift. I have no idea what to get him… maybe there’s some coattails in here I can ride!”

Actually I just looked and it has major PITA written all over it. On second thought, I should probably not wrap it, either.

I went to Best Buy with my mom and she picked out some romantic comedy DVDs that I bought for her. I wrapped them and asked her to act surprised. Two $50 Best Buy gift certificates for my brother (his birthday is on the 27th), a clock for my grandmother, a Nightmare Before Christmas keychain for my friend, and chocolate truffles for my other friend. I’m hiding everything in my underwear drawer; I doubt anyone will look there.

BACON SALT!
