Well, it’s not really a cheque, since they deposited the money straight into my bank account. And it’s actually my first two pay statements because I didn’t pick up my first one when I got it. But you get the idea 
I got a call today as I was getting off the bus. It was from McDonalds. They want me to go in for an interview tomorrow. I explained that I’d go, but I’d already found a job between me applying and them calling me back. I didn’t tell them that I now work for their mortal enemy. :eek: Or that the Hungry Jack’s* where I work is RIGHT NEXT DOOR to the McDonald’s where they want me to work. :eek:
I wonder if I can use this to my advantage somehow when negotiating wages? 
*That’s Burger King where I live. Apparently they couldn’t register that name because someone already took it.
