I got my settlement

Apparently I was party to a class action lawsuit against eBay. Or something. I’ve received a settlement check.

What shall I do with my windfall? I mean, it’s not every day you find yourself with a free dollar eighty-nine!

Normally I agree with those who say use it for hookers and blow…but with a buck eighty nine, I think you will be lucky to get to blow the hooker.

Don’t spend it all in one place!

You can retire now, right?

Bank of America will charge you 3 bucks to cash it.

I’d splurge on some of that fancy gum.

How you doin’?

Send it to me. Your generosity will be appreciated.

Netflix/Walmart, eh?

Convert into 183 pennies, and figure out something to do with that.

Did you call 877-CASH-NOW?

What was the law suit about, Johnny?

No idea. I’ll have to read the paper that came with it.

Go to the casino put it all on black, and let it riiiiiiiiiiiiiide !

One should always take financial advice from Wesley Snipes. That couldn’t ever go wrong.

Maybe mine is at the old address…Not worth a buck eighty to pick it up.

Exchange it for a Candian Loonie.

Hey, we did even better. we were part of a class suing AmEx for something about foreign currency exchange. We got $18.01! We’re going to DisneyL… I mean a disney movie. Maybe just a movie.

Buy a yacht! World tour! Rolls Royce!

I’ve received a couple e-mails about a class action against Classmates.com. I’ve ignored them, but maybe I should rethink that, especially if these sorts of sums are involved.

Lucky you. My “settlement” from some class action against Toshiba for their crappy laptops was a $100 voucher…to buy more Toshiba products. Even came with a catalog of wonderful Toshiba items I could buy. Except the cheapest item on there was an AC adapter of some sort for a ridiculously overpriced $99.

What was it they say about putting all the lawyers on the bottom of the ocean?
