There’s this place in Sedalia, Mo that serves Guber-burgers. It’s a regular burger slathered with peanut butter and it’s really really good. Every time I drive through Sedalia I stop there.
Anyway, I noticed something funny about the menu. Guber-burgers cost $2.35 which is a pretty reasonable price for a char broiled gooey slab o’meat. Then I looked at the price for a hamburger: $1.55.
One dollar and fifty five cents? So, you are then telling me that I am paying point eight-oh, eighty cents, four fifths of a dollar more for a gob of peanut butter? What?
Here’s the funny thing, if they just RAISED the price of the hamburger to $2.00, I wouldn’t have had any complaints. Both the hamburger and guber-burger would both have been quite reasonably priced.
But the way the menu is set up, they’re just reaming me. No dollup of peanut butter should cost that much unless it comes with the a side of two quarters.
Anyway, the guber-burger was guber-tastic.
