Awesome 80s dance soundtrack there. Yeah, I wasn’t alive/coherent for most of the 80s (21) but still love the tunes. Duran Duran, Eurthymics, Devo, etc.
This particular bar shows the music videos for the 80s songs they play on 2 big screens.
Dancing away to something, song changes, then look up…

You know, it’s AMAZING how much play this joke got. Not only that, but how it’s got a second, and almost third wind now that “everyone else” has heard of it and it’s funny to them now.

I clicked on this link on youtube (same one that’s mentioned in the wiki article myskepticsight linked), expecting Muppets. I actually thought it was funny, they match up Beaker’s mouth movements with the song really well, and it’s got Animal in it. Animal can make up for a whole world of sins. I’d watch “Ishtar” if it had Animal in it.
That Muppets video pretty much encapsulates the question I’ve been asking myself for more than 20 years: How the hell does that deep voice come out of that skinny white guy?
