A Carl’s Jr. spicy chicken sandwich and a Famous Star, to be precise. (And coffee.) Those aren’t the oddest things I’ve ever had for breakfast, either. When I was a kid, I’d get impatient waiting for Mom to get up, so I’d heat up the previous night’s leftovers. I’ve had spaghetti and meat sauce for breakfast; Hamburger Helper; my Mom’s enchiladas; tuna sandwiches; meat loaf; whatever I could scrounge up.
I’ve had all manner of sandwiches for breakfast, too, but my personal favorive is cold pizza from the night before. Right out of the box, which has been sitting on the kitchen table all night. Yum, now I’m getting hungry.
You heat them up? I used to eat left over spaghetti & meatballs for breakfast (when I was a kid), but I never heated it up . . . just ate it cold. Now, as an adult, my wife will make chicken soup, and then take all the meat and bones out while the soup cools overnight. I will (very often) eat that chicken for breakfast. It’s a great way to get a hot meal, and without having to heat anything up. (I still think that chicken and turkey necks are the best parts of the chicken.)
Scrapple. For those of you who don’t know what that is, it is everything left on the floor after sausage is made. Kinda like chitlins, which I also have enjoyed.
You wanna hear something gross though? Occationally when I was younger, I would dump one full can of corned beef into a pot, put in a half pound of cheese, two eggs, and serve inside about a half dozen crispy rolls. Yum. I was only about 20 pounds over weight (I didn’t eat that mixture very often) but some how I could ingest the 3500 calories in the morning and still be hungry for lunch. Nowadays if I even look at a can of corned beef I gag.
Another personal favorite: Anchovies, goat cheese, and sundried tomatoes on crackers.
I always ate leftovers for breakfast. One day I reached in to grab the bowl of Sloppy Joe stuff. I couldn’t find any buns or bread, so I figured I’d just eat it out of the bowl. I then realized that it was in non microwave bowl, so I decided to eat it cold. In my dazed state it took me about halfway through the bowl to notice that it wasn’t Sloppy Joe stuff at all, but just Marinara. My mom still loves to bring up the day she walked out to find me eating a bowl of cold spaghetti sauce for breakfast.
I eat packs of crackers for breakfast all the time. Traditional breakfast foods and I don’t agree unless it’s a weekend and I have plenty of time.

Yeah, my wife has that problem too. She can’t really eat in the morning (it’s like her stomach has to warm up first) so she’ll grab some crackers or a piece of toast. But recently I have gotten her to eat cereal in the morning- she does it grudgingly, but she still does it.
Oh, don’t even get me on ice cream… it is the perfect food. Dairy, protein, carbs… it tastes sooo good. Perfect breakfast… kinda like… Chocolate cake! (aka Bill Cosby)
Living in EL Paso, TX, I have gotten quite used to burritos for breakfast…cold ones made the night before. And I douse them with head-clearing salsa - pico de gallo…
Sometimes I have Guinness for breakfast, if I don’t have to go anywhere right away that day. Usually in the summer. I don’t know what the attraction is for drinking it in the summer. I like Guinness. ( Well, I think it qualifies as a food, anyhow… )
Yep, I’ve also had beer for breakfast. It’s all right if you’re not in a hurry to leave the house. I tried liquor for breakfast once, but that just doesn’t cut it.
