This sort of thing has made me promise to always come back and leave a final message if I can, so that, if I don’t, you know that something bad happened.
There was this benzo recovery forum where they thought I was dead because I didn’t feel like going back and reliving that part of my life.

On my 1st go-around here, I was friends with (and have alot in common with) cosmopolitan. Haven’t seen her since I returned in '09. (I was gone from '04 to '09)
I looked forward to Corcaigh’s posts but long time no see. Same with Arky.
I miss mattmcl and Hypnagogic Jerk. As I’ve said before, I didn’t always agree with them, but they certainly made me think.
Anybody know what happened to mnemosyne? Haven’t seen her for a while.
I’m guessing that you mean An Arky. I contacted him via email after he had been missing for a few months. He said he was fine, busy, and a bit fed up with a few things around here. I expected him to return before now. I may email him again today.

.Agreed - I wish they’d come back. However, I’m guessing that matt may be occupied with back-room politics, since the NDP is Official Opposition now.
Last post from her, she had a new job, and a new car, and maybe a new house, so she might just be busy.

They both dropped by my work during their sight-seeing to confirm they were in town and we agreed to meet for drinks later that evening. The four of us all enjoyed meeting and they left, saying they were off up north in a couple of days… It was weeks later that he e-mailed me from back in Australia to say that they had come to Scotland to get married in the Highlands! Neither of them had said a word to us about it!
Anyway, from what he said, I doubt he’ll be back here again
