It’s always weird stuff like thisconcerning the Big Dam Bridge. ![]()
So. Do lots of people in Little Rock own lions? Ostriches?
That’s an impressive bridge, and for a walkway/bikeway too! Now I want to visit Little Rock.
carnivorousplant, Ya’ll don’t make the news much, do ya? I seem to remember a story or two back in 1957.

I guy I worked with who went to school at Central at the time says the 101st Airborne bought them cigarettes and liquor. ![]()
Not sure, but I’m pretty sure nobody owns both.

THere is that picture where the girls are walking by the guys with fixed bayonets and everyone is giggling. Not sure if they are Guard or 101. I presume 101 if they were told to fix bayonets.
The guy I talked to did say a colonel in the 101 read them the riot act.
It’s not news if people are behaving normally. If someone from your home town is in the news, either they died or are acting like an idiot.

And this was well before “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”.

I feel your pain. Tulsa was recently in the news for this.
