I have a 4.0 GPA!

Congratulations! I made 4.0s all through grad school, wiht one exception when I got a freaking B. Normally a B wouldn’t piss me off, but 3.91 is so unwieldy next to a nice, round 4.0.

In law school, however, things have been ahem a bit different thus far. I’ll get grades for this semester in a few weeks.

Sunspace, the grades go (highest to lowest):

A=4
B=3
C=2
D=1
F=0

So yes, a 4.0 average means you got all A’s.

(Anyone know why there’s no “E”?)

When I was in school, we had A to E. When I was in college, I encountered A to F with no E. I always thought it was simply because F stood for Failure. But they also had other codes like WD for Withdrew form the course.

We have E’s, but no F. An E is equivalent to an F.
