I’ve mentioned before that I recently decided to enter the field of emergency medicine, with the intent of eventually joining the fire department. I just finished my EMT training earlier this month, and sent applications to a few places.

I just heard back from the first place I applied to, a brand new casino on the Las Vegas strip called “Palazzo”. It’s a really fancy place, connected to the Venetian. They’re hiring EMTs to work in their security department. The interview is on Friday, so wish me luck!

I’ve sustained a subdural haematoma from Siege’s firm pillow! Is there an EMT available?!?

This is the kind of thing to be prepared for as a result of the shenanigans in the high-roller suites.

That actually sounds like the kind of call I wouldn’t mind responding to. I made sure to pay attention in class during pillow-induced trauma day!

I have a job interview on Friday, too, but no one’s having pillow fights for ME to respond to.

Granted, I’m a systems administrator, but still.
