I have hair!

Chemo ended on October 20. I still think I look a bit like a shorn sheep, but tomorrow (coincidentally, our 20th wedding anniversary) I will be going to work for the first time since August without anything on my head. I’m a bit nervous, but we went to the mall today and I went hatless to get used to the idea.

Picture of my fuzzy head.

Picture of Ivylad and me, all dressed up for our dinner out last night.

You look FABULOUS with short hair. (Of course, with a shaven head myself, I might be a wee bit biased. ;))

I think you look fine - maybe a little like you went a bit crazy at the hairdressers’.

Conga-rats on the chemo being done, the hair growing back, and your anniversary.

Woohoo! Hair, hair glorious hair!

Enjoy your new look.

I looks great. It comes back fast. A year ago I saw a friend in much the same state as you - and a year later (she is someone I see once a year - she lives out of town) - lots of curly locks.

You look fab!

Now is the time to wear all those pretty earrings which would have gone un-noticed with long hair or scarf.

A lady in my support group had hers come in black and white, and another friend of mind told me to expect the Chemo Curl.

My son likes to rub my head…I guess the crewcuttiness of it feels neat.

Oh, NinetyWt, I’m hooked up with earrings. My step-mom makes jewelry, so I told her I needed big ol’ dangly earrings to go with my bald scarf-covered head. She was happy to oblige.

You look great with that pretty smile. Enjoy your day tomorrow.

Congratulations on your recovery and on regrowing your hair.

You look gorgeous with the short cut!

I think it looks like a daring on-purpose short do… especially with dangly earrings.

hurray!!

next thing you know you will be sporting a crystal gayle look!

You look wonderful!

I’m so glad you’re done with chemo - congrats!

You look fine! Enjoy life!

Beautemous!

You look geat!

You look beautiful. You don’t need no steenking hat. Or hair.

Much to the annoyance of black holes.

Oh, and best of luck on your recovery.

You look very nice! And speaking from experience(more surgeries to my brain than I care to remember), your son’s right, that hair right now is the softest you’re ever going to have. Think peach fuzz.

Okay, you’ll have to report on your hair’s condition after it comes in a bit. Mine was board straight, then came in like Bozo’s wig  now it has calmed down a bit to simply mildly curly. It also is a few shades darker brown than it was.
I never could stand to wear earrings while I was bald/wearing a scarf. I felt too piratey/Mr. Cleanish. Now I’m back to wearing earrings.
I’m keeping mine cut short for the time being, since as it grows out curly I look like a dandelion gone to seed. I hope yours comes in very obedient!

You look fine! It looks to be about the same color as it was before, but since it’s still short it’s hard to tell for sure.

I’m so glad you’re feeling better.

Cool!
May I add my congratulations to those of other 'Dopers.
