Last Christmas, my mother-in-law gave me a liter bottle of O’Riley’s Caribbean Rum Cream. Since then, it has been kept at room temperature in our air conditioned/heated kitchen. The bottle is sealed and never opened.
So, how does one drink this stuff? What does it taste like? Do you mix it with something or drink it straight from the bottle? Does it require refrigeration?
My favorite drink is Bacardi and Coke. Can this rum cream be enjoyed like that?
Thanks, y’all.
You can’t really treat it like rum - it’s more like irish cream (Bailey’s, or what-have-you). Mixing it with coke would be gross - but you can drink it straight, with ice. Or, you can put it in coffee, hot chocolate, milkshakes, etc. White Russians should work well, too.
As for refrigeration - eh, it probably isn’t necessary, but it’s best to err on the side of caution. Stick it in the fridge.
Dirty Banana:
