I have stopped . . .

dyeing my mustache. Once the last of the Just for Men grows or fades out I will have a white handlebar stache just as God intended for a middle aged man with my amount of Irish heritage. I had been dyeing it at the request of The Wife because She felt it matched my (still mostly) brown hair better. I now don’t care enough.

Wilford Brimley cosplay coming up!

Definitely the way to go. At 63 I’m just starting to go grey but I have no plans to dye my hair.

I like a white beard or moustache. If it’s a nice color. Sometimes grey can be a very ugly color. Good luck.

Not me. I started going gray at 21. 43 years later and I’m not going down without a fight. The only hair I wear is my Van Dyke, and it gets dyed regularly. It’s enough that I act like a doddering old fool. I refuse to look like one too.

I just shave my mustache/beard, 'cause I’m too vain to look at all the gray, and too lazy to dye.

I had absolutely no idea that dyeing facial hair was even a thing. Is it common?
