Presumably you’ve been told this by a doctor who did a strep test and prescribed appropriate antibiotics. If that’s the case, just be sure you finish the prescribed meds, even though you’ll probably be feeling much better in a day or two.

Drink lots of liquids too. And rest.

Feel better soon. And use Listerine. My grandfather swears by it. Got a cold? Gargle with Listerine. Allergies? Gargle with Listerine. Broken arm? Gargle with Listerine.

The afternoon before my cousin’s wedding, he made me go through half a bottle to try to get rid of my cold. (I think that I undid all his good work by sneaking out to meet my aunt, uncle and brother in the bar for irish coffee.) So maybe that’s my advice: Listerine and irish coffee. But not together. Because that would just be gross.

Also you may want to consider getting a new toothbrush. I had strep in November last year and was put on the full course of antibiotics for it, but then it came back, even harder than before. The culprit: my toothbrush.

Oh yes he did a culture or rather had one of his assistants do the culture then he came back and told me it was Strep. He sounded a little suprised. He gave me some scripts Tussin for the cough. somthing that starts with a C for the Strep and a nasal thingie. My medicine choices are limited because I can’t swallow pills. I swear it’s psychological and one day I will seek threapy over it

Thanks for the advice. I don’t use mouthwash because I can’t gargle everytime I try I swallow it. I wish I could switch that will my pill problem

Thats a good idea. I was sick with a cold and felt better then I went back to my electric brush and boom wose then I ever was. I’ll see if I can’t get someone to buy new heads tomorrow and I’ll boil the old head before I use it.

I wonder if I put it in a glass of water and nuke it for 4 minutes if that would be hot enough?
