and just realized Frank Stallone is in it. That is all.
Don’t feel so bad. Frank Stallone probably hasn’t noticed that you’ve watched Tombstone thirty times.
Nowhere close to that many, but I rank it way high among good Westerns. So many great characterizations. I still flinch when Billy Bob comes on – 3 years before Sling Blade even.
My favorite line is when Powers Boothe say, “Bye.”
Did you realize that the Colonel from “Avatar” was Ike Clanton? That was quite a “Holy crap!” moment for me, considering what a coward Ike is in the movie. “Please Wyatt. Please don’t kill me.”
Oh, an educated man. I hate him.
Thanks for fighting my ignorance. As much as I love the photography and … other stuff I guess of Rambo: First Blood Part II, I never knew Sly had a regular-looking brother. Good for him, I guess.
Still, 30 times is a lot, even for Tombstone. Do you skip past the horse-riding scenes with Delaney?
You know, hearing you say that, I think that’s the one thing I remember about Avatar – “Hey, it’s that guy!” Thanks for that, I guess.
Until really recently, I never realized that Michael Rooker (Merle from “The Walking Dead”) was Sherman McMasters in Tombstone.
(and more bizarrely, as Svenning in Mallrats!)
Some people rather like her, feel that she adds a lot to the movie and would consider skipping over her scenes akin to heresy.
Well, she’s a good looking babe, and maybe a good actor, in something, and I remember her on China Beach when I was a kid and thinking she was fine there too.
But, let’s be real. Time and place for everything, and I think all that stuff messes up a good action picture.
Carry a torch, much?
You don’t say. Guess I’ll have to watch it for a 35th time and see what else I’ve missed.
I’ve eaten Tombstone Pizza at least thirty times.
