Padilla - I’m sure this is a mistrandscibed lyric. It’s my last name and I have never heard of it as a place name. I guess I never noticed in the song as it’s correctly pronounced pa-di-lla (pa-dee-ya) as it’s spanish. Pa-dill-ah seems to fit the meter of the song but I wonder if a single word was trandscribed as “and padilla.”
