Jesus… Man I’m glad you’re fine. This has to end now, I really hope this ends soon.
Ummm, I don’t want to throw cold water over this, and I’m glad you’re alright, Dorkus, but I read this bit from your post and got angry: Since there were significantly better witnesses then me****we hoped to get on the road and bypass the barricades.
If you were such a lousy witness, how come you were doing an interview with Channel 4 later that night?
Did it never occur to you that the police would want every bit of info they can get their hands on?
Apparently not.
Reminds me of the Kitty Genovese affair in NYC back in the 1960’s.
And no, I’m not comparing you to any of those asshats, but as I see it, you didn’t do the right thing in telling the police what you saw/heard.
Apparently, it wasn’t good enough for the cops, but it was good enough for Channel 4 news.
WSLer, dorkusmalorkusmafia does not deserve to be flamed. If there were lots of better witnesses than him as he says, why would he bother hanging around and delaying the police for no good reason? And maybe if you actually * read his post carefully *you would understand why he was the one on the news.
Thanks Rockford. This type of thing seems to be stressing everyone out, that and some people are just cantankerous.
I was on the news because of my friend who is friends with the news’s producers. I was 100 yards away or so and the people whom I saw running were actually near the woman and saw her fall. I simply gave the interview because they asked me so they were able to have something on before the other networks. The people who saw the woman fall and were directly next to her were better witnesses. If the police really want to interview me they can talk to channel 4, they know how to get in contact with me, now.
