"I heart my dog head"? I don't get it.

Those of you who remember the rebus debacle from a while back - spoiler: here’s the earthshattering outcome - might find this SMBC comic entertaining. (And as always, push the big red button below the comic for added amusement.)

I’ve been wanting to make a rebus of [garden hose] + [knee joint] + [a cow vocalising] + [our current U.S. President]. Also a picture of a cowboy covered with a cargo net.

And here I was hoping we were ripping a new one on those car magnets for the different breeds of dogs.

Way back in high school when the [I heart my dog head] and [I heart my <dog breed>] bumper stickers first became popular I used to have a set of round stickers about 3" in diameter which depicted a large woodscrew against a white background.

I customized quite a few bumpers’ stickers. Aaah, misspent youth!!

I <heart> my dog…
I <spade> my cat?
I <club> my seal?

Well, it was a pretty good battle.

In the early-'90s I remember you could buy round stickers of a drawing of a screw, that fit right over the hearts on other people’s bumper stickers.

Good one. But a bit long for a bumper sticker.

Psst Johnny: Check out post #4.

Hey, I’ve only been awake for an hour. It takes me two hours to wake up!

You forgot
I <gripped hand> my chicken.
