I hereby revoke the right of busybodies to vote

If you think the government should care whether I marry a man, two men, three women, or my car. If you think the government should care whether or not I smoke pot, sell heroin to people that want it, or shoot crystal meth. If you think the government should care whether or not I believe in God. If you think I should have to wear clothes in public. If you think that “Fuck, Shit and Piss” are worse than tree, house or the. If you care whether or not Janet Jackson shows me her nipple during a holiday dedicated to a four hour beer commercial. If you think the government should stop me from killing myself…

Then you are no longer allowed to vote.

This has been a public service announcement from the people against people who can’t mind their own fucking business.

We at the PWCMTOFB thank you for your cooperation. Remember it’s mandatory.

That’s PAPWCMTOFB, sorry

Your ideas intrigue me and I’d like to subscribe to your newsletter.

So basically, you just wrote a post to try to dictate the will of people who try to dictate the will of others.

You’ll be turning in your voting card hastily, I assume?

Holy fuck, of course the government should care. Unless, of course, we eliminate tax breaks/penalties based on marital status and dependency and eliminate requirements for hospitals to treat individuals who made poor life decisions.

If you will agree that we should tax every individual equally, regardless of whether they are a dependent in a familial unit, and that hospitals are allowed to decline treatment for drug overdoses, then I will support your rant.

Only if this vote goes through.

Done. It was a pleasure doing business with you.

If you think the government should care whether I set fire to a man, two men, three women, or my car. If you think the government should care whether or not I smoke pot in the viscinity of your children, inject heroin to people that do not want it, or blow up buildings with faulty meth labs. If you think the government should care whether or not I sacrifice humans to my God. If you think I should refrain from tearing of other people’s clothes in public. If you think that fucking, shitting and pissing are bad things to do in your parks, or in your house. If you care whether or not Janet Jackson shows your children her nipple during a publicly broadcasted and widely viewed show. If you think the government should stop me from killing you…

Then you are no longer allowed to vote.

This has been a public service announcement from the People Against People Who Don’t Fucking Realize That It’s Better To Allow Overcompensation Than The Alternative.

We at the PAPWDFRTIBTAOTTA thank you for your cooperation. Remember, you asked for it.

AAACK! I did NOT mean to attribute my ‘quote’ to Erik. After all, it’s been slightly modified for emphasis purposes. (Didn’t notice his name at the bottom :smack: )

Sure I’m down with Anarchy, let’s do it!

Begbert2, the parody of the OP you wrote is at best ridiculous and at worst very stupid. Setting fire to someone involves a victim. Two or more people marrying does not involve a victim. This is an important point that I see misinterpreted almost daily. If one cannot point to a victim, then for the most part, I agree with the OP. Stay the fuck out of my business.

Now I realize that when it comes to taxes, medical care, welfare, etc., then all of us paying for some dumbfuck does in fact make us a victim. However, that cost is not enough to warrant the trampling of our freedom. And yes, we are indeed a nation of fucking busybodies.

Are you sure? What equation did you use? And how did you figure out the value of “not enough”? It seems enough to me. But maybe I used the wrong numbers. Show me your work so I can check.

I support your rant, then. The government should get out of areas it has no vested interest. Which hole people use for sexual pleasure (anti-sodomy laws) is something that we need not waste our tax dollars enforcing.

On the other hand, we should find some way to tax it…

Just one question…

If I marry my business car, can I deduct it twice?

Anarchy is sooo totally just the right thing to do. Here’s my three year plan for implementation of anarchy.

Year 1: Form local committees for the analysis of transition of local power to no power. Also form citizens patrol groups as a countermeasure against rioting due to the change in power structure. Also solicit contributions from people in your area based on income and propert value so that you can pay for some place to house the rioters and other n’er-do’wells your citizens patrols capture.

Year 2: State level committees must be formed to ensure that all of the local committees are not abusing their committee status. These committees should solicit contributions from residents of the state in order to pay their living and entertainment expenses, since their committee work is obviously not allowing them to work for their own selves – it’s their sacrifice to the virtues of anarchy.

Year 3: In order to prevent conflicts between the ideas of various state committees, the formation of a national committee is paramount.

&tc.

If you build strawmen and blow them down, you should not be allowed to vote.

I support keeping meth, PCP, and heroin illeagal. I guess I can’t vote then :frowning:

Sh. Logic has no place in this hypothesis. We’re talking Utopia, here! What’s a little killing, raping, looting & total breakdown of structure when the grand scheme is bound to turn out exactly as envisioned?

Actually I’m kind of with you on PCP. I have been around junkies of all flavors for a good portion of my life. PCP is pretty awful, and dustheads are pretty scary. While Meth increases one’s propensity for anger, I don’t agree that it should be illegal, I think legality would increase the safety of meth labs as people wouldn’t be making surreptitious labs in motels anymore. As for heroin, I don’t see any reason to keep heroin illegal, a junkie that can’t get up is far from a danger to society, however, if opium were legal we may see a marked decrease in heroin production as heroin is produced as a way to make opium easier to transport and harder to detect when smuggled.

As for the price of hospital stays. Something tells me that giving an overdosing junkie an adrenaline shot once in a while or treating the occasional cocaine heart attack is probably much cheaper than incarcerating someone for two years. However, under our current system we are paying for both as it is, so legalization would dramatically decrease our costs as taxpayers, and we might even be able to tax some of the newly legal trade, perhaps lowering income taxes. Cutting costs and increasing revenues is good business. We would be able to stop subsidizing expensive programs like the DEA and Narcotics task forces. We wouldn’t even need to worry about them because with more relaxed borders due to less of a concern about illicit drug trade, we’d have an increased market in the private corporate security industry.

We’d be able to stop listening to black and hispanic people bitching about the disproportionate numbers of their ranks being in prison, people would stop killing others for snitching, and there would be a sudden decrease in turf wars as drug dealers incorporate and legitimize. Crack and Opium Dens would pop up around the country, and we’d see junkies relegated to red light districts where such behavior is condoned, leaving the streets of the rest of the city fairly open to the average citizen.

Basically, I am just sick and tired of having to pay people to oppress me because some jackass has a beef with something they completely misunderstand. I mean, I really could give a fuck about what people want to do to themselve. I think the world would be a better place if we’d let people who want to die kill themselves and remove themselves from the gene pool rather than breeding because fucking someone they barely know brings them a respite from their tortured existence.

Just think about it, think about how much freer your mind would be if you stopped worrying about things that are completely unimportant? It might not be a utopia but it’s a lot closer than what we’ve got now.

And the best part about it is, it’d be like living in America for real, all that shit we sell little kids in school about Freedom might actually be believable, and they won’t have as much angst when they become teenagers because they won’t have to realize that they’ve been lied to this whole time about living in a free country. Ahh, it’d be beautiful.
