Does anyone else do this? Got a wild hair (maybe plus some alcoholic courage) and just decided it was too long (which it was) so I took the scissors to it myself.
Looks pretty good. It’s short, but that’s what I wanted. I just get so tired of paying $20 MINIMUM to have someone “trim” my hair.
Last time I was in for a ‘cut’ the woman would absolutely not take off any more than, like, and inch even though I said shorter.
I cut my own fringe (bangs) in-between appointments. But I have quite difficult hair (very fine, a lot of it, needs layering to sit properly) so I wouldn’t touch anything else.
I would rather take the scissors and stab them into my own heart than use them to cut my own hair. I’m amazed that my haircutter *only * charges $17 (plus tip) to cut my hair and I gladly pay it. I think most of the time when people cut their own hair, it looks it.
