I just had a tooth pulled

15 molar, the upper rearmost molar on the left 9 my wisdom teeth are already gone).

No problems so far…I’ll see if I’m okay enough to go to work by 4 pm today.

It was pulled because I broke the crown off and only had tooth material under the gumline left.

The worst part was the needle jab to the gums…no Q-tip with Anbesol to numb the area first. :eek: :mad:

The Doctor used a blunt awl to centerpunch the tooth and shatter it, then went in with needlenoze pliers and pull the fragments out.

My mouth smells and tastes like medicine and blood.

The anasthetic wore off.

My gums hurt.

My mouth hurts.

My whole head fuckin’ hurts.

Mommieeee…I got a BOO-BOO!!!

I am very sorry. Take lots of Advil (or whatever the generic name of it is). **Do not ** take asprin, it thins the blood and makes you bleed more.

I had 5 teeth pulled out a couple of years ago. It hurts lots. I kept the teeth because I wanted something to show for the pain. They’re in a box a home.

I feel your pain! I had mine pulled this last Thursday. It still feels funny today.

I had my wisdom teeth out week before last. Loved those painkillers. Yours sounds worse, though, at least they knocked me out for mine. They even gave me nitrous while they were inserting the IV. I loved the nitrous. I never knew why they called it laughing gas until then. Someone should bottle that stuff, that was great.
