I just lost control in the Mall (Game related)

So we went out to Columbia Mall today (Sunday) for their once-a-month antique fair. Got some cool pinbacks (one from the forties that just says “I Told You So”. I expect I’ll wear that at work.) and some other knick knacks.

Then we headed into the mall to pick up lunch and hit the bookstore.

Then I walked past the ‘Wizards of the Coast’ game store.

And apparently lost my mind for an hour. And, sadly, so did Lady Chance. We’re both veteran gamers of more than 20 years standing. Got a game? We’ll play it.

$130+ later I found myself lugging around…

Munchkin, by Steve Jackson Games
Dilbert: Corporate Shuffle by WOTC
Burn Rate: The dot-com game, by Cool Studio
Dungeoneer, by Citizen Games
Elixir, by Mayfair Games
Once Upon A Time, by Atlas Games
Gold Digger, by Out of the Box

Oh my head.

I host a once-per-month game thing and I think we’re gonna get some hard work done this time out!

Banzai!

Though I still don’t quite know what came over me.

Ahh, yes, I know the feeling of the Red Feeding Rage coming over me in a game store…blowing my entire budget for the month…etc.

Painful, painful…

I feel as if I’m keeping rpgnow.com in business single-handedly.

And here I am in a University town, & I can’t even find a D&D group to join! :frowning:

Guys, guys, go check out cheapass games.

Great games, dirt cheap.

Whoa whoa whoa… your telling me there is a Dilbert game?? Now I hafta get to WARP 2 to check if they have it! Shame I don’t have money though pouts I still wanna pick up a few books… Revelations of the Dark Mother… Vampire: Dark Ages… maybe a couple of D&D just to check them out as I haven’t played it yet…

Oh and of course the comic books they have in that store… oh a geeks dream…
